Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly amazing. The peaceful and tranquil surroundings overlooking the bay and Mauna Kea were simply breathtaking, and I could clearly see the snowy peaks of Mauna Kea from my room. The regular hotel room offered a comfortable stay amidst wonderful surroundings. The service was filled with genuine aloha spirit, with the staff being very nice and accommodating. However, there was an unfortunate incident of theft during my stay. The location was incredibly convenient for exploring Hilo and its attractions, with easy access to free parking. The dining experience was excellent with a great variety of breakfast choices, but it was a bit disappointing that the extras were pricey and limited. Overall, a delightful experience worth revisiting.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and had everything I needed, but they only had three pillows which was a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the room had great space; however, there was a downside as I found black hair all over the bathroom floor when I arrived.
The hotel offers a comfortable and private stay with great parking availability. The rooms are well-furnished and quiet, ideal for both work and relaxation, although cleanliness could be improved. The service is friendly and accommodating, even in unexpected situations. The location is excellent, right on the waterfront with panoramic views, albeit with an underwhelming restaurant. The dining experience varies from awesome to poor. Overall, the hotel provides a mix of positive and negative aspects worth considering.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions, but the overall aesthetic of the hotel could use some updating. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff, though the dining options were a bit pricy for what was offered.
The hotel offers a mix of spacious and nicely furnished rooms, with friendly and approachable service. It boasts a great location close to attractions and free parking, although it seems a bit run down. The dining options vary in price and quality, and the facilities are well-maintained.
This hotel offers a great location near Hilo town with spacious, clean rooms and overwhelming friendly service. However, there were some odd smells in the room, and the dining options could be pricey. The semi-island beach park in front is a plus for beach lovers.
The hotel is located in a perfect spot close to the beach and with easy access to several amenities. The rooms are spacious and come with a lovely balcony offering views of a charming park and the ocean, though they show some signs of aging and could be cleaner in certain areas. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, particularly the F&B team, and housekeeping services were top-notch. The location is fantastic, set on a beautiful street with banyan trees, near Coconut Island and Liliuokalani Gardens, making it an ideal choice. The dining options had their ups and downs, with a good restaurant experience but some disappointment in other areas. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers spacious and very well-furnished rooms with balconies providing a great view of Mauna Kea. Service can be accommodating, but there were instances of being off-hand, especially during road closures. The location is a bit out from the center strip of Hilo but near the airport, the ocean, and Volcano National Park. The dining options are popular but slightly expensive. The hotel facilities are generally satisfactory.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise with comfortable rooms equipped with microwaves but had a slight odor of cigarette smoke. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even when directing us to a restaurant late in the evening. However, the location, though near the airport and overlooking Hilo Bay and Coconut Island, required a car for access to shops and restaurants. The dining experience was excellent with delightful Sicilian products. The facilities were convenient, making the stay enjoyable overall.
I could hear all the motorbikes and cars and sounds of birds from my room, overlooking the Bay and Coconut Island State Park which had activity in the parking lot all hours of the night. The restaurant was not worth the money, but staying here felt like the good old days of getting a hotel room.
